July (the day after Asanha Puja) Khao Pans The start of the annual three-month Buddhist rains retreat, when new monks are ordained.

October 23 Chulalongkorn Day. The anniversary of Rama V's death.
December 5 King's birthday.
December 10 Constitution Day.
